The Nudism in the Naturist Movement
The nudist is that person who practises along with a group of people, Swinger activities (nudists) of different types, generally in public especially in a mixed social setting including a whole families. In most of the countries it considers himself synonymous of naturist.
The meanings of naturist and nudist are very similar, and refer to a cultural and political movement practising, advocating and defending social nudity in private and public spaces, considering that the moral prohibition of the practice to be naked in public is origin of psycho-emotional problems, between which they are lack of self-esteem, poor man auto image corporal and sexual morbidity.
Although in the naturism definition a reference to respect by the nature is added, almost all the groups that auto define themselves simply as naturist try to express in freedom their right to be naked.
The ideology of nudism is defined as:
- The positive perception of one's own and others nudity
- It is a form of personal and social growth
- It does not have sexual character.
The naturist practice is a Swingers lifestyle according to its defenders, recreational, cultural and educational, promoting the contact with the nature and under a communitarian life, it frees, without religious or sexual discriminations with the only purpose of favouring the own respect, respect to others and the natural environment. They defend the possibility of practicing the nudism in public spaces
Many nudist or naturist groups are beginning to fight so that this ideology is respected within the framework of the Human rights and its practice lets is persecuted by the legal ordering of each country.
